Rappel and Climb
This is a featured activity for new and intermedia climbers, tourists, and families. No previous experience is necessary. We will provide all the gear, instructions, and snacks for the event.
You will learn how to rappel while being protected by our guides, climb the most classic climbing routes in Northern Colorado, and enjoy the beautiful view of Horsetooth Reservoir!
With only 15 minutes drive from downtown Fort Collins, this is a great start if you want to experience rock climbing but only get a limited time.

Intro to Outdoor Climbing
This program is a great start if you are new to outdoor climbing, either you are from indoor gym climbing and want to step up, or just want to get started outdoor climbing with a certified instructor.
We are here to help you overcome your fear of heights and develop courage and resilience. You will learn how to use climbing gear properly, how to tie safety knots, how to belay your partner, and how to identify outdoor rock holds and the essential climbing movements and techniques.

Outdoor Traditional Climbing 101
Known as “Trad Climb” or sometimes crack climbing, this is a pure type of climbing. Using your hands, your feet, your elbows, your thighs, and your whole body, trad climbing offers varied and unique climbing experiences for everyone.
This program is designed for people who are new to trad/crack climbing, want to learn all the basics and gear placement on a traditional route, or just want to enjoy a day of safe and fun climbing day. You will learn the trad climbing gear, basic techniques for trad climbing, and harvest tons of fun!

We are the “pad people.” This program is designed for those who pursue challenging climbs and push their limits on the boulders. Wondering around high alpine Rockies and lying on the ground with wildflowers, this could be your world-class bouldering experience.
With numerous boulder problems, you have options to choose from according to your level and goals. You will learn the basics of outdoor bouldering, how to place crash pads, and how to spot your partners and fall safely. No previous experience necessary.
